About ProIsrael.AI

Ask a question about Israel or the Jewish world and get a direct answer, with the people who stand with Israel cited beside it.

What it is

ProIsrael.AI is an answer engine. You type a question in plain language, the way you would ask a well-read friend, and it writes you an answer in a few paragraphs. You can keep going with follow-up questions, and every answer has its own link that you can save or send to someone.

It exists because the usual places to ask are a poor fit for this subject. A general chatbot answers from everything it has ever read, which on Israel includes a great deal written by people hostile to it, and it cannot show you where any sentence came from. A search engine hands you ten links and leaves the reading to you. This site does the reading, tells you who said what, and lets you check.

Where the answers come from

Under the box is the ProIsrael directory: organizations, ministries, journalists, educators and creators around the world who publicly stand with Israel, together with what they publish. Their videos, their articles and their posts are gathered in one place and kept current.

When you ask something, the site searches that material first and gives the most relevant pieces to an AI model along with your question. The model writes the answer from two things: what those voices actually published, and its own general knowledge of history, geography, religion and current affairs.

How to read an answer

A sentence that ends in a number, like [2], comes from a source on this site. The number opens that source, and the full list sits under the answer together with the voices behind it. Follow them. The point of the site is that you never have to take its word for something a real person said.

A sentence with no number is the model's general knowledge. That is usually right, and it is where you get the background a question needs: when something happened, what a term means, how an institution works. It can also be wrong or out of date, so treat it as you would a knowledgeable stranger and verify anything that matters.

What it will not do

It never speaks for anyone. People and organizations are described in the third person and quoted only in words they actually published, with a link to where they said it. Nothing on this site is written in somebody else's name.

It does not describe a living person or a particular organization from memory. What it tells you about them comes from a source you can open. If the site has nothing on someone yet, it says so rather than filling the gap.

On questions that are genuinely contested it does not pretend to a view from nowhere, and it does not dodge. It states what is documented, says plainly who makes each disputed claim, and reports what pro-Israel voices say in their own names. Figures from an ongoing war are always given with whose figures they are.

Who it is for

Students facing a hostile classroom, pastors preparing a sermon, journalists checking a claim, advocates who need the argument and the person who made it best, and anyone who has heard something about Israel and wants to know whether it is true. If you have a headline or a claim in front of you, paste it in and ask about it.

Your questions

A conversation is stored so that its link keeps working. The link is long and random, it is kept out of search engines, and nobody can find it unless you share it. Anyone you do share it with can read it, and only you can continue it. You do not need an account to ask. The details are in the privacy policy.

One thing can come of a good answer. Our staff may use it as the starting point for an explainer, which is a separate, edited page. Your conversation is not published by that: its link stays as private as it was, nothing about you is attached to the explainer, and deleting your conversation does not depend on it.

The thumbs under each answer are read by people. If an answer is wrong, unfair or missing a voice that belongs in it, a thumbs down is the fastest way to tell us, and you can always write to us.

Part of ProIsrael

ProIsrael.AI is one of the ProIsrael sites. The directory itself, the pages of every voice cited here and the way to add your own organization are at ProIsrael.org. The better that directory becomes, the better these answers get.
